    In my opinion, thats great news Ather, things seem to be on track....routine background check continues for everyone untill visa issuance. Bear in mind though that I have heard rumors (probably untrue) that some countries (including Pakistani's) checks take longer than the other majority.

    1 - Maximum delay 3 years from date of first landing otherwise you will not be able to meet the 2 year requirement within the first 5 years. 2 - I'm not 100% sure about visa expiry for first landing, but I think it is either 6 months or 1 year from date of medical - (senior members will confirm)
