That's Exactly how I feel right now. I was expecting it to take a lot longer before the PPR, but having sent in my PP I have got a lot more impatient!

It depends where your final CoPR is being processed. In the case of CPP-O / Ottawa: If you give this forum a scan, you will see that the time between PPR and CoPR is quite a bit longer than LA (or Buffalo before). This isn't to be pessimistic- just fyi so you don't start stalking the mailman too...

Thanks all for the updates! It does seem now that PPR isn't quite the same step as it was for Buffalo or LA. FYI, I sent my passport copy (by email) on Oct. 22 and haven't heard anything since (nor has my eCas changed from 'In Process').

Not only is there no French requirement for spousal sponsorees, as a new QC immigrant you are eligible for free French classes. So really don't worry about that aspect. You will find French useful for everyday life, but there is no immigration issue.

Did you hear this from CIC? Or is this just a (totally reasonable) guess?

Do NOT put anything in 7c- no date when applied, etc. When you receive your sponsorship approval, you will get information on how to apply for the CSQ. You CANNOT apply for your CSQ without the sponsorship approval. Don't put ANYTHING for the CSQ now and don't worry about it until you hear...

Just replying to confirm other response. I was also confused by this. You put the applicant's csq IF you have one. Since you don't, just leave it blank. It is NO problem. :) Good luck!
