Yup that's what we are doing, the issue was that the embassy gave us additional steps that weren't on that list but it's all good now. I think we still could have done it without the form they sent us for fingerprints.

When i called the CIC hotline about our police certificates they said the expiry doesn't matter as long as when they receive the app the police clearance is still valid. They will request another if needed,

I sent a translation in with my wife's security clearance from Lebanon, They were actually able to provide the translation at the Lebanon embassy where we go the police clearance from.

Apparently the Singapore Embassy in Manila is telling us we need some kind of fingerprint request form to take into the police station. This wasn't in our request from the Canadian embassy, nor is it mentioned anywhere on the Singapore website and i don't see anything in your post about it...

We received our request letter from CIC to send to Singapore so we can get the police clearance. One of the requirements is sending a bank draft in Singapore dollars made payable to them. From asking around at a few banks we found that PNB does do bank drafts for Singapore however it looks...

Either is fine, I ended up putting mine about 4 to a page on a word doc and printing them out that way.

For the Singapore office we aren't able to provide it before submitting the application as they require a letter from CIC to request it. On the plus side we just got the email this morning with the request letter to send them.

You are 'supposed' to. I know a few people haven't in the past likely due to mistakes at CIC but most do get one.

Shouldn't be a problem, people get stuff back for missing signatures all the time.

I had a mistake on my app that i wanted to get corrected. When i called the CIC call center they advised me to mail in an updated form with the proper information explaining the change as well as send it via mail to the VO.

Since our police certificates were going to take such a long time we decided to send them in after. Since the clearances are one of the last things they go through this will be unlikely to delay your application, or of least unlikely to delay it longer than waiting for the clearance to submit...
