    about experiences

I am also under 4131. 4131 DOES NOT concern with the actual subjects that you teach. The only thing u need to confirm is the institute, which u work for and the responsibilities. If you teach in a primary or secondary school - then no If you teach in a college or university or a technical...

    Urgent help ...please

When they have received your documents and when they open a new file for u at the visa office, they will send an AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) by post. This will happen at their convenience, depending on their workload. Time to recieve the AOR can vary. It can be a few days to several months...

Father name different on Passport from that of written in Application to CIO.

What's important is the father's name in your birth certificate. Because a lot of countries do not have father's name in passports, the passport is normally not used to verify this information. So in my opinion, it should not be a problem. However, if your dad's name is different in your...

    Overstayed in US

Actually Friend2ya, u made matters a bit difficult for yourself by defying the judge's orders. According to the US penal code, refusing to leave when the judge ordered, is a criminal offense. http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/uscode08/usc_sec_08_00001253----000-.html Theoretically, a criminal...

DIY or Canada Visa? Which one are you?!

Im just curious but how much does a consultant charge? In my country, its usually around $5000 all inclusive. Out of that, little over $1000 goes to CIC and rest to the consultant. I feel that's daylight robbery. My process was quite smooth. I'm at medical stage now.

DIY or Canada Visa? Which one are you?!

Actually mate, if u can read instructions and understand them properly, Canada immigration is the easiest process by far. If you want to see a real stressful process, try reading the NZ or Aus immigration instructions.

    refused after file number ????

In my opinion, a good consultant should be able to tell you whether you are eligible or not, before sending your documents. Since nobody in this forum can understand the exact problem, my suggestion for you is to talk to another consultant who will give a free assessment of your eligibility.

    refused after file number ????

i am not very clear about your story but it looks like your consultant has screwed up. before u submit any documents, did your consultant tell you that u are eligible to apply for canada migration? you said you got a file number. is your file number something like B123456789 (letter B and nine...

@vamsi001 - yep i know that the story i posted was for sponsorship. that's why i wrote 'see if this helps'. in any case the moral of the story is she still has a chance to get thru, if she talks to the CHC and try for compassionate grounds. this is confirmed by your posting too. In any case...

DIY or Canada Visa? Which one are you?!

I'm DIY. Doing it alone is NOT hard, as long as u can understand instructions. But if someone asks me to recommend a lawyer, I would probably recommend David Cohen (the guy who runs canadavisa.com), simply out of gratitude for running this very valuable, open-to-all forum with absolutely no...

    Noc 1111 or 1122

NO. But if ur working as an accountant, obviously u will have some qualification in the field (certifications, professional memberships etc.) so u can send copies of those, to be safe.
