Dear Fkl, I am also in the process of applying for PCC from Pakistan. I am living abroad since 3 years now, although I have been visiting Pakistan on a regular basis. My question is, do I mention my address history on my Pakistan's PCC as continuous i.e. D.O.B. to present, or should I omit the...

    Police check ?

Technically, you do not need one. Your application can not be turned down for not providing the PCC. As a precautionary measure, you may try to get hold of one in case they ask for it later. They might not allow you as much time as is usually required to get PCC from a country you do not reside in.

Letter of explanation - Details on work experience that is not worth any points

Mix and match in NOC codes serves for CRS purposes. It is, thus, not a valid reason for not including it in work history. You can just mention in LoE that you did not include that job in the work history since you did not want to claim any points for it.

I don't think you need to go back that far. CIC asks for 10 years address history.

Overlap in dates mentioned on PCCs

I went to my home country for a visit (1 month) and got PCC as it was easier to get one in my presence. I read somewhere that you only need a new PCC when either the previous one is more than 6 months old or when you return with an "intent to reside". I might also visit my home country a number...

Overlap in dates mentioned on PCCs

Hi all I am living away from my home country since February 2015. When I visited there two months ago, I got the PCC but they mentioned the duration of my residence from the date of birth to the date of application. Now in my current country of residence, they gave me the PCC from February 2015...

Please guide: Filling educational details in express entry profile

Hi All, I am currently completing my EE profile and I have a question regarding my educational details. I did my Masters during 2011-2013 and the results were formally issued in 2014. On the evaluation application, WES asked the 'year of award' of my Masters degree. I wrote 2014 there as the...
