Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all,

I asked my ex-employer to provide a job duties letter in the necessary format for CIC but they responded back saying that the company policy guidelines does not permit them to provide me one such letter and only gave me a standard employment reference letter.

Can I now get a self declaration notarised and submit as part of the application along with the refusal email? Will that be ok for CIC? Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
SJR_Spencer.

Basically, the point here is to show CIC that you tried your best. You can try and write to the most senior management. If they decline your request, add that email along with the refusal email you already have.

Yes. And along with this, can you get it certified by your colleagues, presently working there (preferably) or those who have left? Try to add as much other documents as possible to show the nature of your job. Include pay stubs, salary slips, salary account statement, and something which can prove your working hours (full-time work defined as minimum 30 hours per week). Write a polite LoE and explain the whole situation.
