Oh My Gosh! Why would they send you back if you applied for BOWP? You would have implied status until the app is processed, and hopefully the CEC will be done very soon..... Can you stay while waiting for BOWP approval and then just go work somewhere else while waiting or CEC to finish...

Its my understanding you must apply within the 4 months PRIOR to your current work permit expiry date, so yes, you can apply 1 month prior to your expiry date. ie, you can't apply 5 or 6 months before your permit expires, just 4 months or less... Hope that helps...

My Medicals Oct 12th; people a few weeks ago were getting PPR/CoPR's anywhere from the same day - 10 days after "Meds Rec'd" status change... now not much happening at all... Not sure how on earth I can handle this if it drags on through the holidays :'(
