I got a reply in 3 days this week, but they just confirmed they received my new address and will change it. They ignored all the other questions I asked in the same email.

I am just wondering if it might be worth applying for a visitor's visa to go and wait in Canada. Are there any precedents? Does it take long to get too? Is there a big chance they will refuse it because of the ongoing Spousal application?

Did you try to contact the LVO at all after you mailed the police certificate?

Do you know if FK22's case has any special circumstances? Their interview was on January 17th according to the LVO Spreadsheet. Did it go well? I am just wondering as my interview was a few weeks later, and I might be in a similar situation. Cheers

No movement here as most of our cases are out of the hands of LVO at this stage. The security checks are carried by external offices, and the waiting game just gets worse ...

True, answering questions is not something they are known for! At least you know they did not lose your application since you said it says it is in process. According to what I read, a major cause of delay is when the applicants lived in different places, thus requiring a longer security checks...

You are right chopsticks, there is barely anything happening so we are just waiting without much said on this thread. Did London give any explanations to why your case is taking this long with no interview?

My interview date was changed because I made a silly mistake. When I got the email regarding my interview, I did not email back to confirm my attendance although they specified that in the message. Therefore, I wasn't scheduled for the interview yesterday. MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE...

It depends on whether you are a visa exempt or not applicant. It is kind of reasonable that they only ask for interviews when the sponsored applicant is from a non visa exempt, since there has been many fraud marriages. However, it is a bit frustrating and time consuming.
