    Hi, just to share my experience as I went through the similar sitaution. CIO actually returned the whole application pack at my address with a letter indicating that the CC was not charged and if I wish to continue with app. then send in complete bunch with valid payment option.

    Application received By CIO on or after 20th May 2010

    As it is evident from most of the posts on this forum that till today, most of the applicants applied on or before April 14, 2010 have received their 1st AOR so timelines can be gauged easily.

    Would welcome comments about my case situation in the given scenario. I applied on March 30, 2010 to CIO, on May 17, 2010 I had the whole application pack returned to me with a letter stating that my credit card could not be charged and I should reapply using some other channel for fee payment...

    Applied in April`10 but unfortunately credit card could not be charged so had the application returned back to me. Filed again on June 3, 2010. As per DHL`s record received at CIO on June 10, 2010. Waiting for 1st AOR...

    regarding visa office info for application to CIO

    At CIO the reviewing officer will strike it off and will write `CHC-London, as per email`. When you have the AOR in shape of the email, it would be mentioned in there as well. Chow!!!

    Phone number of London CHC.

    CHC is your local visa offices which are responsible to deal with applications for the 2nd phase. Overall it is goverened by CIC.
