Just checked with the bank regarding fate of the DD...still outstanding..no encashment!!!

Why would they go for that if the application is meant to be returned for any reason whether its missing doc, blank space, CC could not be charged etc. Actually I went through the same scenario, my CC could not be charged and they did not bother to make any 2nd attempt, returned the complete...

I totally second that. If we have not been allotted any file #..howcome CIO may track our pack of application and slide in the missing doc? Search by name is not possible at all either.

Hi Srid_a, a humble suggestion: if we can add CC / DD against the dates in `DD Charged` column of this tracking sheet, it would be easier to bifurcate b/w the two payment channels and from there we can get to know the date wise progress of the applicants having their DD or CC charged.

No worries bro..there are many lined up (+/- same dates), waiting for their DD encashment. Mine is 10th June and still waiting..

I second that..DD, Monery Order or Pay order is a better option.

Please count me in as well. My status is as under: Application Received by CIO: June 10 or 11, 2010 (As the acknowledgement from DHL says: June 10, 2010. Have not received AOR as yet.

and...the forum you mentioned is for June applicants of CIO or respective VOs? Please confirm..

Mine was received at CIO on June 10, 2010 but still no AOR neither the demand draft is encashed. I wonder how long would it take???
