Is there any tel no i can call to get my 2nd file number from London chc. My ecas is RECD BY VISA OFFICE" FROM 26th jan 2010. Still i have not got the AOR WITH new file number. Can i call them and get this new file number..

No listed phone no. You are too anxious, give another couple of weeks and make sure it hasn't gone to your email spam folder, if you gave an email address.

CIC = Citizenship and Immigration Canada
CHC = Canadian High Commission

But isn't the CIC the one responsible for the immigration applications ? What does the CHC have to do with it ?

CHC is part of CIC i think

CHC is your local visa offices which are responsible to deal with applications for the 2nd phase. Overall it is goverened by CIC.
