Dear all,

My application reached to CIO on 11th May. I wanted to make the payment with my CC which later got blocked for unauthorized transaction. it was closed with my permission. Now i have new card from the bank. However, CIO wouldnt be able to charge the previous card. I have heard similar situations with few other candidates as well and heard that CIO usually e-mail about a failed CC charge and request new payment information.

Now, what is usually the e-mail's subject line and how the sender name comes? As i receive more than 100 emails regular per day and 500 more junk mails.. i need to set up some mechanism so that i dont miss it, if i get selected for processing and they send me an e-mail.

Anybody can help?

Hi, just to share my experience as I went through the similar sitaution. CIO actually returned the whole application pack at my address with a letter indicating that the CC was not charged and if I wish to continue with app. then send in complete bunch with valid payment option.

Dear Seniors,

Please help Aakash. I know he is stuck, and most likely he'll meet the same fate as ok1.

Aaakash, please tell if you have a file no. If yes, maybe you can quickly send an update letter to them for your new CC.

Seniors will sure have some solutions to this. Else, it will be very sad to recieve his file back.

(This is the only reason, CC payment is not the greatest option for payment)

Good Luck!!

Hi,

Theywont email you about the payment they will send you a letter by post stating that they are unable to charge fee to the given card number so send a new pament form with this letter. They email only where they are sending the AOR.

Cheers
Saki

I guess the real challenge here would be to seek right information as to if the application is returned and the NOC you applied under is no more there on current list, then would the CIO be acknowledging the application if it is sent with valid payment option? Having been through the same situation, I understand that there will not be any file # allotted to you..As a precautionary measurement, you need to seek some expert`s advice or consult with some consultant in advance.
