No, this is just a rumour ... CIC test and oath letters do get forwarded by canadapost ... my letters were forwarded to my new address so I am telling u by personal experience. Canadapost mail forwarding service is awesome.

Thanks guys. .. its been confirmed now .... test/oath letter do get forwarded so canadapost mail forwarding works for cic mails perfectly. .. however mails that contain personal docs like PR cards or Passport will definitely have 'do not forward' and it will not be forwarded.

Yeah ... my oath is on 29th @ scarborough and i couldnt find it on the cic website ... i called them and they told me that i should not be concerned about the website and should follow the instructions on the oath letter and ecas ... i think they dont update the website that fast and it will be...

Hi Everyone ... my oath is on 29th October ..... my oath letter and ecas both says 29th but I just checked cic website for scarborogh oath dates and I can only see oath dates till 28th October ....... is there anyone else who is taking oath on 29th oct as well ?

Hey congrats :) .... what documents did they check ? How early you should reach there ? In the oath letter its written that there is no guarantee if your guest will get a seat due to limited number of seats ... i want my wife to come with me .... lets see .... congrats again :)

Hi everyone ... all of you who got their test or oath letters already ... can you please confirm if you found a 'do not forward' sticker on the envelope or not ? I just called canadapost and they told me that if 'do not forward' sticker is not there then the mail will be forwarded. Please look...

Thanks Kimba409 .... both the houses are mine so checking mails is not a problem .... one question ... when you say "if the postman cannot deliver your letter (do not forward) it would probably go back to CIC" ... what do you mean by that ?
