i think as long as the money is for you to use, it doesn't matter how you secure it (as long as its legal lol). Is there no way that you can take the IELTS and TEF before the four months are up even in another city.

unfortunately, it depends too much on the postal system. It would be better if the IMM0008 General forms had a unique ID on them and applicants could check their status online with their passport number or something like that and know whether they were successful or not.

for the visa office stage, the letter has to be quite detailed why you believe you can get the points. At least thats what i think. for buffalo, i gave my history with english and then proof of proficiency for each section.

Well, more than two people have replies back from Sydney now. For Sydney, I only wrote about why my English was proficient but I really don't think they even look at it. So whether you write the letter or not, if your ministerial instruction requirements are fulfilled, Sydney will okay you...

thanks. i dont think it matters. I worked previously in a bank and in IT but dont have a banking/commerce/business or IT degree. Of course, you cannot claim to be a doctor without a medical degree, but there are many people who go into IT without IT degrees. So it really depends on job i guess...
