When Can i expect Acknowlegement

Hi

I have submitted my application but did not receive acknowledgement yet. Below are the dates of the various activities.
Can you provide your feedback and guidance.

Application Submitted on 11/03/2008
Money Order cashed on 12/18/2008
Do I fall under 38 NOC : Yes
Submitted at : Buffalo , NY

you should check it on trackitt.com
Look for a person called Juanda. S/he applied between feb and nov last year to buffalo. I guess there would be more people like that but thats one name i remembered.

You should get AOR soon I guess.

Hi There,

At this time Buffalo is very slow and talking longer than usual due to economic downturn. It may take up to 6 months to just get the file number. Our clients have given medicals last september but still haven't received anything.

So I guess we all need to be very patient.

to make you feel better, I applied Almost exact dates:

Money Order cashed on 12/21/2008

I did send an email to find out, why is it taking long? ofcourse, i got the generic answer as follow:

Permanent resident applications are created in our database and acknowledge letters are sent to the applicant within 30 weeks of receipt. Any application submitted without the required documents and information will be returned to the applicant.

Thanks everyone, I sent email to Buffalo and learnt that the case has been sent to Detroit, does anyone know how long will it take in Detroit to get the AOR. buffalo team did not provide the date when it was transferred.
What are the reasons to move the file to Detroit?
