Have you ever succeeded in an online transaction with that Visa debit card? If so, the card is fully activated and should be no problem.

Adobe acrobat has a nice feature of "reduce document size". Another option: use a pdf printer and pick a low dpi in the printer setting, double check whether the documents are still readable. Best luck~
