hey everyone,

So last year i applied for pr via express entry and got rejected due to a change in jobs and my new contract not being acceptable to cic (I am living and working in canada at the moment with a work visa). This has been amended and I want reapply, but I am not sure if I need to retake the medical exam. The site says the medical exam is valid for one year, and I only did it last summer.. but I do not know if I can submit the same medical exam from the last time or need a completely new one.

Any help for this would be appreciated!

Thanks

All medicals are valid for one year. Invariably, any medical done over 6 months ago should not be used when you consider CIC's 6 month average processing time. Personally, I won't use any medical conducted over 4 months as the expiry date of your medical determines how long you would have to prepare for your landing after your PPR and COPR.

That's a helpful suggestion, thanks a lot!
