    What visa are you on? If you're not a Permanent Resident you will need eTA. It's cheap and easy to get online and I shouldn't do any damage for you.

    If you call them after the 87 ++++++ days pass by, they will tell you that there is an 'extension' ~2 weeks, for the Card processing centre. Honestly do not bother with calling the call centre...

    I'm glad, remember though- like Scylla said, we cannot guarantee anything, the decision is up to your officer only. My case was processed in a year, we got super lucky with the odd Sept. 2014 processing.

    I went for a trip for a month and a half! My partner joined me there after 3 weeks and maybe a few days. We had NO issues whatsoever. But again, this probably depends on your officer.

    Congrats! It's almost over for you ;D Remember to bring the applicant's passport, call-in notice and 2 photos. And your partner of course :) It's good to be there an hour earlier so you'll be one of the first ones in line. You can also get your permanent sin right after.
