    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Hey 2012'ers, I keep getting unknown missed calls to my phone at weird hours, in my phone it says "No Caller ID." What did your phone log say when you all received calls from CIC? They called really early my time at 5:46 AM, so I am assuming it wouldn't be CIC calling that early and left no...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Whoa, chill out, it probably says this on CIC's form to use black ink or something which is probably why that person said that.

Extend stay vs submit PR paperwork

Okay, to each his / her own! Stage 1 approval otherwise known as A.I.P is when you get your OWP and that is taking 11 months to complete with another 6 months for Stage 2 to be finished. As opposed to outland where you're probably done the whole process in 11 months. Just food for thought...

Extend stay vs submit PR paperwork

I haven't done any research recently, so you may want to check that you have 6 months of valid status from the date they stamped your passport. Please note anything said on this forum might not be entirely accurate all the time, but we try our best! Why are you applying inland by the way...

Extend stay vs submit PR paperwork

Hey Sunny, You always need valid status within Canada whether you choose the inland or outland process. You will need to extend your status by filling out the application to change, or extend your conditions. You are American, right? That means you are visa exempt and you have 6 months of...

Sponsor Application Decision Made: Most probably Rejection

Rpanda, I don't really have an answer to your question, but I would re-submit that form with an updated one immediately. Write a cover letter explaining it was an honest mistake and not intentional. Best wishes,

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

I believe it is DM. You are the principle applicant and your partner is sponsoring you, correct? It sounds like you will be landing at the Frederickton office. Best wishes,

Question regarding submitting medicals and PCC after application has been sent.

Sup Pong? I am not too familiar with out of status applicants, but why can't you leave the country and come back in? That should give you status within Canada and then apply outland? Probably someone more experienced in this forum could say something about this. You should just do the FBI...

Rambo - I am sorry to hear this. That probably means you will have an interview scheduled. You should order your GCMS notes to see what's up. Best wishes,

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Hmm I have never heard of a way to electronically submit new information unfortunately. I think it's all through snail mail unless I am mistaken. Best wishes and good luck on everything!

This is legit advice, I messed up a form and sent a new form along with all my application information and they matched it to my file.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Hi Brunei, It's not recommended you leave Canada unless you are from a visa exempt country and even then there are no guarantees of being allowed back into the country. Also, as soon as you get stage 1 approval, they will ask you in the same email to do the medical. It is always a risk...

Expired Vistor Visa, Inland App on Stage 2 - Can I Apply for Open Work Permit?

This makes sense to me, so I would follow this advice.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

UKZippy is the man of the hour!! Lol, DM means decision made, which usually means your stage 2 is completed and you have been scheduled to land and become a PR. You may get a refund if you apply for an OWP but land before that OWP is issued as you do not need an open work permit as a permanent...

Expired Vistor Visa, Inland App on Stage 2 - Can I Apply for Open Work Permit?

Hmm I think you are past the point where you can restore your status because it's been more than 90 days. I would chose "a work permit with a new employer and initial temporary permit or extension of temporary resident permit." Be sure to include your AIP so they can make sure you qualify for...

Expired Vistor Visa, Inland App on Stage 2 - Can I Apply for Open Work Permit?

Hi Zoid, Yeah, you are able to apply for an open work permit and you should do this immediately. It' the application to extend, change conditions as a worker in Canada or something like that. I don't have a link but it's on CIC's website somewhere. Because you applied inland, it is not...
