By saying "landing" do you mean the last time the sponsor arrived on Canada or the first time with pr card? My wife has returned to Canada few days ago and didn't say anything about she got married on his last trip to brazil.

You don't need to have money on spousal sponsorship. Just tell them your plans and how you're goin' to make things work. Good luck.
