That's odd, there are so many people that go to the HSBC Centre, not just for family class but when I was there I saw so many students it made my head spin.. wonder why if this is true. As for landing if I had seen any post that said something about landing I'd have recommended...

If you have your paperwork filled out and ready to go, maybe.. 10 minutes. If not, obviously longer.

It does mean In Process, but e-Cas is barely reliable.. if your file was already transferred to Buffalo just wait actual contact for PPR, being In Process on e-Cas after transfer doesn't really mean anything in the bigger picture.

There is no specific time. You just have to wait for PPR. Some people wait months on In Process, I was In Process for not even a full day before receiving PPR e-mail. In Process status on e-Cas has little to do with date of PPR.

About 6 months after landing as a PR my e-cas status using my wife's ref # never deviated from In Process. tl;dr --> e-cas is unreliable.
