    Hi Mona r, it all depends on the officer handling your file. By law, one is not suppose to complete landing process if your medical is no longer valid. Normally before passport request is sent out, the applicant is required to have at least 3 months valid medicals so from the time the applicant...

    It doesn't matter even if you decide to stay for 1 month, as long as your final intended destination is Alberta.

    No particular reason was given, in fact I was told no action is required of me at this time other than "wait until you hear from us.

    Hi! They've already sent an email to the officer in Ottawa and the response from the officer was that I should wait since the visa was already approved. I guess the question now is for how long do I have to wait before PPR? Thanks for your concern though.

    You and I have almost similar timelines...I'm Feb 27/2014 applicant, IP March 5/2015, DM on May 13/2015 but no PPR since then. It's so frustrating...anyway congrats, I guess the waiting continues for me.

    Thank you so much trunal89 for this information. I did call and the agent was quite nice to me too, she did send a memo to the Ottawa office to know the reason behind my PPR delay. Hopefully Ottawa replies this week with PPR. Thank you once again for your concern. Fingers crossed...this week is...

    Well, I'm also a Feb applicant and CIC is yet to take care of me as they did to you guys by sending PPR email. Now I'm anxiously waiting for mine...I guess this week is my week to celebrate PPR too ;D :) :P :D
