its 17 months and 1 week pass. no changes in my online status
only it appears "application Received in XXX Jan 2014"
"Medical Results Have been Received"

Why CIC takes this much time to Update something on my online status..
loosing Hopes day by day ......

Hey All,

I called CIC again today and the guy basically told me that your file all depends on the officer who is looking at your case and it's up to his/her convenience of when they will notify you once you get DM.

They said this doesn't mean that your file is just sitting there but they usually send out around 20-50 cases at the same time, which would make sense as everyone who got DM on June 12th got their passport requests on June 22nd (as per this thread it seems). As I am a June 12th DM applicant too, I am hoping this means they have posted my landing papers. The officer on the phone from CIC also said he's heard of cases taking up to 1-2 months after DM to hear anything and that's normal (here is hoping that WONT happen for most of us) and to just sit tight and you'll hear soon...

I called to CIC call center on Thursday 25 June. Agent was nice. She asked me where my file is i said it's in Sydney NS then she asked me UCI told me that if you have spouse and she is in India your waiting would be 20 months which is Delhi office time i told her i have applied in Canada and i am in the Canada now. she said it doesn't matter if your file in Sydney and if you have spouse in India 20 months is your time period. She also looked at my file and she said your side everything is fine but no recent update with my spouse file. My wife has done medical reassessment on 9th June and nothing after that. I was really shocked I never heard this kind of things before. Is anyone has same kind experience with call center. Thanks.

Well, I'm also a Feb applicant and CIC is yet to take care of me as they did to you guys by sending PPR email. Now I'm anxiously waiting for mine...I guess this week is my week to celebrate PPR too ;D

please what if the IELTS expires in between the processing? say before it gets to them through mail. The exam we have was done in July 2013 and i just saw there that it is valid for two years. I don't know what to do? Please bail me out. Is one taking another IELTS since it was the MPNP office that delayed the processing of the forms we submitted. and if one submits the expired one, does that mean one will not be given a second chance to re submit? or what are the implications?
