    Yay! Now the wait begins. You can also use your tracking number on the Canada Post website once it is in Canada. Ours took exactly 2 weeks to get delivered, but we didn't send it express.

    You can only get an Option C printout, if you filed your taxes in Canada. Since the OP is not living in Canada he should be fine without it, as long as he submits a note explaining his situation.

    you have to call canada revenue agency to get a option c printout ( instructions are on the sponsor's checklist) but if you only worked in 2007, I would just write a note that you haven't filed taxes in Canada for the last 5 years, because you live in Germany.

    that's horrible. The whole process must be really hard on you. I fell already a bit impatient and haven't even be waiting half as long as you have. Are you at least able to stay together or are you waiting apart from each other? I hope you'll get some good news soon.

    Does anybody that filed in October through Manila have their Visa yet? I could only find a whole bunch that got PPR. And most Manila peolpe in September got their PPR a while ago. Maybe Manila requests the Passport early like New Delhi for example.

    I understand everybodies frustration with the whole process, but try to see it from a different perspective. We can be lucky that we can stay with our partners during the process, even if we can't work at least we are not alone. There are a lot of people that have to wait in there home country...

    I think she could be visa-exempt, on the cic website it lists under visa-exempt countries: persons holding a British National (Overseas) Passport issued by the Government of the United Kingdom to persons born, naturalized or registered in Hong Kong not sure what that exactly means though.
