Hi Everyone,
I'm applying under common law family sponsorship and I'm wondering if someone can help. I'm looking for the guide or form that states I need a statutory declaration from a family member or friend in regards to our common law relationship.

I hear people talking about it, but I can't seem to find it online.
If you could provide the link that would be great!

Thanks in advance

Here it is:

For western europe the Region specific guide states in the checklist under 10 Proof of Relationship:
Also provide details of the history of your relationship and at least two statutory declarations from individuals with personal knowledge of your relationship supporting your claim that the relationship is genuine and continuing

Might be different for your region specific guide. Maybe check with somebody that applied common-law through your visa office.

edit: the guide for latin america doesn't seem to have that, but maybe look in some of the threads for that region

Thank you :) However I don't see this listed in either of the articles :( Everyone is saying we need a statutory declaration from a family member or a friend stating that we live together and that our relationship is genuine. I know the Mexico country specific guide doesn't say that tho.

Oh ok, so maybe people are getting confused by the boards as lots of ppl are saying you need it for common law but the mexico city office i dont think requires it..
