Finally got my PR card today wohoo!!!! Issued on June 19th. Congrats to everyone who received their cards and to those still waiting...hang in there I'm sure you will get yours very soon.

Hey they didn't ask for any proof of funds. If you have bank statements and stuff I guess you should take it with you just in case. Under CEC proof of funds isn't required though. Cheers.

Thanks!!! PR card will be mailed to your Canadian address after you land(no need to apply). Already went to Service Canada and got my permanent SIN number, card will be mailed in a couple weeks. That's about it, no further course of action :)

Congrats that was fast and that's how it should be. My passport reached the office on the 14th, hopefully I'll get it back in a week or less. nkk0127 hope you get yours back in less than a week too 8)

No VFS...have to submit directly to local office via courier(also provide prepaid return courier envelope). I sent it already, will be delivered tomorrow. Will keep you posted, hopefully I get back my passport with visa and CoPR next week :)

Hey thanks for your response. They gave me another 60 Days to submit my passport. I'm going to submit my passport and photos with an explanation letter and see where it goes. Getting another police clearance will take 2 weeks, so I will start that process today just in case I have to submit it.

Exactly...not like they transfer your physical file to the local office requested. Besides, GCMS is accessible at all visa offices so any officer should be able to verify your status. I just want to get this out the way asap.
