Honestly, I have no idea. I guess luck plays a part. There are some folks who applied in January that are still waiting for AOR and their applications have not been returned.

Just an update guys, received AOR today. Application was sent Feb 14th and received Feb 16th 2018. AOR received March 12th 2018. For those still waitig for AOR, don't panic. CIC doesn' really work on a first come first served basis. Hope you guys get AOR soon. Goodluck

Based on my experience with PR under CEC once they send back an application or request additional documents and you provide it in a timely manner they do not treat your application as new and therefore the wait time should be less than that of people who applied when you sent your stuff the...

Yea I would imagine it shouldn't be an issue since the form is irrelevant unless you spent time outside Canada as a Crown Servant or spouse of one. I recently submitted my application on Feb 14, 2018. I was just looking to see if anyone from previous months checked yes for time outside Canada and did not submit CIT 0177 and got AOR and not a returned application. I guess I will just wait and see what plays out. Not a big deal. Thanks guys.

I did select yes. Hopefully it does not get returned. Oh well even if it is, will just add a few weeks of waiting. It' the grand waiting games of CIC

They probably do the initial checks and then your local CPC takes over.

Yea I think all Citizenship applications are processed in Sydney, NS. Maybe depending on which city you live in the waiting time for the test and oath will be slower or faster.
