Hi All,

What does FP mean?

I'm just wondering as I see it a lot & don't know exactly what it means. Please enlighten me.

Thanks

Just an update guys, received AOR today. Application was sent Feb 14th and received Feb 16th 2018. AOR received March 12th 2018. For those still waitig for AOR, don't panic. CIC doesn' really work on a first come first served basis. Hope you guys get AOR soon. Goodluck

Honestly, I have no idea. I guess luck plays a part. There are some folks who applied in January that are still waiting for AOR and their applications have not been returned.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do at this point except wait. Hope you get your AOR soon. Goodluck.

As far as I know, they just grab an envelope from the pile. They don't know which application was mailed or delivered first. Just gotta be patient. Some people get lucky

although the citizenship process is longer than the PR (express entry) is a less painful... especially because you're a PR already, so there's no expiry date on you and the only real change will be get a Canadian passport and right to vote, but everything else is the same(healthcare, SIN#, etc). So just relax, carry on with your life in Canada and be happy :)
