Regarding Paris ... We have been waiting since June 15 (sponsorship approval) and still no word from Paris - no ecas update (not available) - no letter in the mail - no email ... Patience is a must for Paris I guess ...

An outland application goes to Mississauga, Canada first. They will aprove you as a sponsor. Than they will send the file to Paris (since your husband is Swiss) As the checklist for an outland application asks for a police certificate and proof of medical - we included this in our original...

Just an FYI A police certificate didn't cost anything for me and we didn't need to let anything be translated.

Congrats to all that are in process ( or further :)) I am really jealous as we haven't heard anything yet :( I try to stay away from this board but unsuccessfull .. I notice that this whole immigration process is really getting to me and I am sure I am not alone with that feeling.
