I had a problem with UPS, and had to switch to FedEx. That's why it took so long, FedEx is what ended up working. I don't have my PR card yet, but I used FedEx to get my COPR

Unless you're in a hurry, I'd just make the appointment. If you need it asap, I've heard people have better luck at the Peace Bridge. Maybe give them a call and verify the hours/days before you go.

I haven't heard reports of refusals from the Peace Bridge, at least for those who go T-TH. That might be a better alternative than driving almost 3 hours each way out to Sarnia.
