This is an extremely useful reply. Thank you! Not only for taking the time to phone them but also relaying this information. I think I'll do the same, I'm March 2019 too, had CSQ early June and BGC was August. I've never had the medical yet but thank you again I'll get on to it.

Thank you for your reply; I obtained my CSQ back in June 2019 so that's well behind me. For the GCMS notes, I went to this https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/requesterInformation and it said that you have to a PR or citizen of Canada to get this information, and of course I'm neither so I had...

I'm not sure where this information is found within CIC because it's not in the processing times section But either way mine has long been left behind as I'm a March applicant.

I'm 12 weeks to go and had nothing after CSQ in June 2019. I'm disillusioned with all this and judging by your timeline I won't be expecting anything any time soon either Thank you for checking in I'll update you with any actual updates

Thank you. Mine was more complicated because I originally applied in January (approx 12th January 2019) but was originally rejected due to a lack of a police certificate (which now had to be provided up-front). I corrected this very quickly and got it re-sent back towards the end of March. So...

Thank you very much for finding this out, much appreciated! I know I'll be a few weeks off yet as my AOR was 3rd April, but at least I know.

I'm hoping that's IRCC has MIDI should have processed Feb applications months ago. It would make sense if it was IRCC.

I hope so. I originally applied in mid January. Was sent back but got AOR 3rd April. I'm praying something happens soon, for me and the rest of us waiting for progress.

Well I'm glad I spoke up then, we're all in the same situation and at least know we're not alone. I stopped looking at the March Inland forums on here because yes, they're all PR's by now and there's us in Quebec stuck in no man's land, post CSQ and before anything from the Federal side. It's...

Is anyone finally having any progress with the application? I'm 15 weeks out from supposed permanent residency but still waiting for my background check to clear Still no medical or biometrics yet either This process is beyond slow and causing me to worry Where are we all at

I've certainly not. Supposedly I'm 4 months away from PR like you are. I'm well over 3 months into my BGC, no medical, no biometrics, nothing.

It's awful isn't it? Especially when everyone else on here who's say from Ontario Inland March 2019 are already PR and we're stuck in no man's land. Are you good to keep renewing your work permit if required or do you have enough time left on it to not worry? I'm my case my passport expires...

Pretty much exactly the same here Got my CSQ early June. BGC started August 10th and still ongoing. I'm from the UK too and have no criminal record Goodness knows when it'll ever progress! I don't even look at CIC daily any more It's too depressing getting zero updates month after month. :(

Processing times after receiving CSQ (Family sponsorship)

I had to Google what GMCS notes even was! lol. But essentially you can order your case file notes for a cost. I haven't yet, but if it goes over 1 year then I think I may have to. I was kinda hoping someone might say that once you clear your BGC then it's all systems go. But maybe that's not...

It specifically says in the Quebec letter that they have updated the federal government of the acceptance of PR, so there is no need to. If they ask for it for whatever reason then you can send it then.

I assume we're more work for the processing teams, but right now I don't see what's going on in the background to justify the wait. Annoying eh? Wish they would throw a carrot or something to keep us going.
