Processing times after receiving CSQ (Family sponsorship)

Hi all; Like many of you under the Quebec immigration scheme, I've become very disheartened by the radio silence. Those purely under the Federal Government for Family Sponsorship who applied at the same time as me are either PR already or getting their landing interviews. Me and other...

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

6 months into my PR application; Quebec sent me my CSQ back in June. Nothing since other than my BGC which has been going on for over 2 months now. I'm getting beyond frustrated now. Non-QC applications for March 2019 are already getting their Landing Interview and / or are already...

    ****MARCH 2019 INLAND SPONSORSHIP****

My situation exactly; I applied In January originally, but had it sent back for missing one thing. I re-sent it in March and got AOR 3rd April. Therefore I consider myself a March applicant. My CSQ was June as per my signature, I've had nothing since then other than being told my BGC started...

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

Yeah you got it buddy. As Quebec have a certain amount of power to choose their own candidates, the CSQ is a vital step in the process and you cannot finalize PR without it if you're a QC resident like we are. The sponsor will submit all the financials possible to prove that they can meet the...

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

This may not be that significant but I noticed that the wording on my application has changed from something like.. "You may not hear from us for a while, this is normal as most updates occur towards the end of your estimated timeline" to "Make sure you read your messages and take action when we...

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

Well you need to change your lawyer then as they're charging you a fortune for nothing from what I can see. I'm halfway through the process but it's kinda like this. Starts with Federal Gov. Send app -> AOR -> Get letter from Fed to apply for CSQ with Quebec Government. (if Applicable your...

My BGC is still going on and it's getting close to 2 months now, is this normal? Still no medical, sponsorship approval, medical or fingerprints yet either. My CSQ was approved in June. Nothing has happened since then other than my BGC starting. :(

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

That's amazing! Huge congrats! How long has it taken for you to get to this point? Ie your timeline? I wanna eventually plan a trip back home but dunno when exactly to book it because I've no idea how long it'll drag on for, with the Quebec element involved Once again huge congratulations to you

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

As said before the deadline will be (I think it was) 4 weeks from the date of the letter. Whatever the length of time it is, is stated on your letter from the Fed.

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

Nothing happens (in most cases) on the Federal side until after your CSQ is sent out. Your deadline now lies with Quebec. 4 weeks I think it was from the date of the letter (it states the deadline on the federal government letter). Once you get your CSQ, you will get a letter saying that...

Looks like me and you are virtually on the same timeline, my PR application was (re-)sent and received in March, my CSQ was received by me June 2nd and my BGC started 3-ish weeks ago. I am also on the Inland Family Sponsorship March 2019 forum, generally it's been taking 4-6 weeks. Of course...

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

Thank you so much for replying and I feel your frustration, you're not even as far into the process as me (just!) and your application is 2 month older than mine! Makes no sense! I do feel sad for you, but personally I don't feel alone now as was wondering why non-QC Inland PR applications were...

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

Hi all, this is my first post to this specific forum. I was referred over to here as I was concerned that I've had very little progress compared to the non-QC inland applicants, then I realized that most people here have had the same lack of progress. Inland Common-law Sponsorship, QC...

    ****MARCH 2019 INLAND SPONSORSHIP****

OK that makes me feel a bit better then, because other than the BGC I've heard zero since I got my CSQ until 3 weeks ago when my BCG started. No medical, no fingerprints, no review of sponsor eligibility. Waiting on BGC. I sit with my OWP and just working hard at my new job and hoping for news...

    ****MARCH 2019 INLAND SPONSORSHIP****

Hey! Thank you for taking the time to reply; I didn't send it upfront as we weren't asked to. I was asked to send my police certificates upfront, (which I did). Otherwise just my standard PR and OWP applications, The status still says: You do not need a medical exam, and you do not need to...
