How will you be approved so quickly? It says the processing time is around 12 months

Ah... and looking at this thread it actually takes longer than their 8 weeks? Or did you not opt for the 5 day premium? These timings may decide whether we do outland or inland.... outland I can go back to england easily to work rather than diminishing my savings with technology waiting times.

I just read the link and it states that if ordered online then the marriage certificate is guaranteed within 5 business days... you can do this once it's registered which takes 6-8 weeks?

I was wondering this too.... once we put our parents down how do we pick the sibling to include... or do we a close friend? We both have big families and everyone knows

Thanks. My UK one could be done in 30 days but the current wait for ottawa is around 3 months.

So for everyone else applying using the new kit... what are you doing about the police checks and medical? It specifically states not to submit them until requested and that you only have 30 days once requested. Would it not take longer than 30 days to get both of these done? And if done...

Doesn't the OWP get sorted first after the AOR?

Thanks for the info. Well be submitting it in May. I'm currently on a WHV (UK citizen) but by the time the OWP comes through I'll be on a visitors visa. Just working out how much time we need to plan for me not being able to work

Was this an inland or Outland application? If inland did.you apply for an open work permit?
