    Applying on implied status?

I was under the impression that if I have a visitor visa application ongoing (my IEC expires June) I could still apply for the spousal sponsorship on implied status by submitting the application recieved notification. I've recently been informed by an immigration lawyer thato I can't apply until...

I'm confused about the police checks... when I did research on the PR application 2 months ago I read that you don't need to get police checks before sending the application since they will request them at a certain point. Is this correct? What re applying in 4/5 weeks depending on when our...

This may sound like a dumb question.... but what do I do if I've worked more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years? It asks for 10 years and to add additional pages if neccessary so do I need to print that page... fill it out by hand then scan them in and merge it with the original pdf document?

    Visitor visa

Hey everyone... I'm applying to have my visa changed to a visitor visa while we wait for our marriage licence to send off our inland PR. I was advised to write an explanation letter and a letter of support from my wife's parents (who will provide financial support if neccessary). Does anyone...

I believe as long as you have evidence they recieved the OWP you're on implied status until it comes in the post. That's my understanding anyway as I'm in a similar situation having to extend my visitor status just in case because we're sending the application around the exact time my visa expires

I just read the page and if your job is a permanent contract that counts as the 6 month rule.... you have to show you WILL BE working for at least 6 months and have lived in ontario for 6. You can apply after the first 3 months of working.... I got mine because it took 3 months to find a job so...

    Really Need Some Advice

Yeah you need to show you can provide basic needs such as food, shelter and clothing... a lot of the time if the sponsor is a student or part time they'd get parents or other family members to write letters stating they'll provide support

Thanks for clarifying... we're sending our inland later this year and I've lived here 3 years. If all goes well with our application I don't plan on leaving canada for at least 5 years so this change sounds like I can apply for citizenship 2 years after getting PR :)
