I was filling post ita online forms , under family column they are writing last name as mandatory field and not allowing me to submit forms without it but my problem is no one in my family has surname written on passport. can someone please tell me what to do

are you talking about online result as provisional result, if yes then you cannot create ee profile with that as ee profile needs trf no. that is on hard copy only so wait for hard copy, it is matter of week or 2 for it to arrive
