If my husband doesn't get approval as a sponsor?

I beleive it asks for an explanation if you're unable to supply an option C. You would just explain that all his employment has been abroad since he has not been living in Canada for a number of years. You could submit any tax info he has from the country he has been living in.

    Option C

Unfortunately you have to file your taxes yourself even in the absense of a t4 from an employer. As a self-employed person you're still recieving money for a service rendered.

If my husband doesn't get approval as a sponsor?

He should still have an option C regardless if he's lost a lot of money or not. As long as he doesn't owe the goverment and has files taxes then there shouldn't be any problems.

Hey Jim, After my boyfriends work permit expired we purchased visitor coverage until April 30/2011. We used Co-operaters. It covered Health/Hospital (pretty much everything) up to 50,000 no deductible and it cost $730.00 :)

    Open Work Permit after AIP

Addntox the poster said she didn't submit the open work permit with her application. Therefore she wouldn't have any implied status even as a visitor becuase nothing was submitted. She is responsible for maintaining her status in Canada until AIP when she could apply for the work permit.

    Open Work Permit after AIP

I don't know if anyone else knows the answer to this? I thought submitting a PR application alone doesn't give you implied status? I was pretty sure if you didn't submit an extension with the PR applcation in the same package, then you would have to change conditions to visitor seperately...

    Open Work Permit after AIP

If you were working when you filed for PR in order to have implied status as a worker you need to include the OWP in the same package as the PR application. If you didn't include this you cannot continue to work on the expired permit or SIN and will have to wait until AIP in order to apply...

Did I commit a mistake? :( Outland application

I spoke to the CIC and they said normally the sponsors name goes on the receipt but if the applicants info was put there it wouldn't matter in the end. As long as they have the money :)
