HELP!!! My wife misrepresented herself to a visa officer during interview.....

I understand where you are coming from BB. The fact the OP has come on here and told this very fragile story regardless if its true or not is wrong, no doubt.

HELP!!! My wife misrepresented herself to a visa officer during interview.....

I agree Plumosa. The story sounds extremely far fetched but in the chance it is true noone knows the victims true feelings or the exact circumstances she faced.

    Spousal sponsorship interview problems

So confusing as to why she would go through all of this just because she couldn't get a police certificate. You can always get a police certificate and in the case where you're unable to obtain one you would just have to explain the situation in a letter. This is a very costly mistake :(

    I'm done here

A troll is a person that often posts ficticous or far out stories in order to get a response from other members. They can also be rude, unsupportive and mean. They sometimes post poor, untrue comments. Not very nice when people come to the forum to gain knowledge in this hard sad process :(

On work permit but would like to begin outward sponsorship process?

Yes you can do the outland applicaiton regardless of where you are living or if you're in Canada with visitor status. My boyfriends work permit expired and it was extended as a visitor and we're applying outland. If you're from a visa exempt country and have been legally admitted to Canada...

Sponsorship PR application - Inland vs Outland paperwork?

...and if for some reason they decided to be awful and they refused you entry the application would continue to be processed as usual. What if you had an emergency where you had to leave?

Sponsorship PR application - Inland vs Outland paperwork?

Chances of them denying you at the border when you have proof of an application in process are slim. If you have all the proper paperwork with you (copy of application, reciept ect) you shouldn't have any problems.
