yes..i am using the same email address that was mentioned in the application for all my correspondance. They should atleast email us when they receive our passports and keep us updated of the current status. This will help them by receiving less calls and work effectively.

The agent told me that they process the application based on the order of them receiving the package. Anyways CIC is not-predictable as always.

I see a person's application with the same timeline as ours got approved yesterday. I am hoping to see approval this week too. A question outside the scope of this thread; Are we allowed to work with our stamped CoPR and Social Insurance Number ? or should we wait for our PR Card.

Did you try calling CIC ? I see no reason for them to hold your documents for a week post approval.

I think there is no harm to call them and know your status.

@DEEPCUR agreed..but i do not see any-other options. If anyone know some better options kindly share it here. I do not have any friends/family members in Canada.

I do not know why would they keep the passport for over a week post approval. Can you tell me the exact verbiage against the Final Decision in your CIC Account ?

Choose a location first and identify the UPS Stores. Call them (atleast 3) and ask your questions.
