yes..mine has reached Ottawa on the 24th of July. No updates so far for me too. I know a guy whose passport was delivered on the 13th and still waits for an update and so the COPR and passport.

I have read in this forum that, CPC takes close to 3 weeks to return the passports and COPR. Also CPC has the SLA of 30 days from the day they received the passports (I do not find these info anywhere mentioned in their websites, but got to know by reading this forum)

I honestly don't know, if have read in the forum that some people have written the information on the backside of the photo. I wrote on the backside of the photo and submitted my documents today.

Yes..Canada Passport and PR has the same spec. They did not stamp for me. I wrote it myself; Walgreens, address, and our details. I would say, you better be next to them when they cut the photos. I am personally not satisfied on the cuts. Carry the spec with you and ask them to double check.

I used Walgreens. @djm1414 recommended me to Walgreens. They have a predefined specifications for the Canada Passport (50 * 70).

I spoke to an agent to know the status of my application. The agent did not reveal anything but just said everything looks good and my file in Ottawa. I asked if i cleared the Eligibility or Criminality or Security, the agent said don't worry, you will know the decision by October. Let me see...

Many say in the WhatsApp group that IP2 (We are processing your BGC) to PPR is max of 15 days. Again they were all Non-US applicants. I think CIC is releasing PPR in batches. May be they are waiting for good number of US Applicants for a batch to be released.

Interesting to see that when your BGC status in CIC changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you information if we need more information." your application was "Approved" per GCMS.

Congrats!! At-last some movement. You have passed IP1 but i am not sure what is your current stage. Someone following this thread may be able to explain you better. I know another US applicant whose BG went from IP1 (your 'App is in progress') to NA instead of IP2...

The US Applicants are processed slowly. I am not sure if you are in the tracker. I see some US Applicant with their AOR on the first week of April still waiting to see some progress post medical. I feel that you should get some updates on BG this week. You may also try calling the CIC, to know...
