Hi Strongfaith42, Just a small update, Me and spouse's BG completed (spouse had a FP request earlier) if u can update the tracker , thanks. My BG was completed on Sep 13th and Spouses completed Oct 26th, FP request was Sep 13th and FP done on Sep 18th.

Depends on the agency, most send the finger print directly to RCMP along with the instructions to send them directly to CIC. The total turnaround time can be 5-8 weeks or more. Currently RCMP, similar to CIC, is running on backlog so delays are expected.

My friend recently got one done and the agent send the reports directly to CIC and gave a letter with all the details. They said CIC shall receive by a weeks time.

Hello ChrisFred, In your case, this question will be not applicable, so was in my case too. You may write "NA" or "Not Applicable".

@Canadagens I think if the RCMP sends the report to you, you may forward it to CIC.

The new tracker still shows everything as is, In process, I would wait for a couple of days to see if BG gets complete. The update date is of today.

Oh that I am not aware of, I think it matters only if you are sending only minors application.

For minors, I would suggest to send as many documents as you can. I send these: PR card copies Copies of biographical pages of passports (2 sets of copies) Immunization report School reports Health card copies Drivers License (if you have one)

Hi @Strongfaith42 , yes you are correct, e-cas is showing "We received your Application on April 1st 2021" and the new system shows "In Process". Any idea what the time lines are in terms of the next step, most probably the Citizenship Test?

So my account is registered now and I can see the status as "In Progress".

Not sure, I tried to register for the account, but its not letting me. I will try tomorrow and see if they let me register.
