I received my GCMS notes after 5 months. I think they are waiting on to complete some steps and then send out the notes.

As far as I have seen, you may or may not get reply, so reply is not guaranteed, they sight of getting a lot of inquiries, even those getting response, if the application is within the normal processing times (which keeps on changing) , you generally get a standard response and asked to check...

you can know from the test invite you get or from the notes , if you order one.

BG in process means there are good chances of FP been requested and/or passport pages and\or explanation for any travel if there is one.

I dont think this is a thread for passport form filling inquiries, you may look up for appropriate thread to make sure you get relevant response.

I was curious how much gold jewelry can one bring from their home country , the jewelry was already declared on the B4 form but not brought in Canada. Now if I want to bring it, do I pay custom duty or if I show the B4 stamped with photographs (apparently more than 5 years back) will it work...

Hello @livingincanada2016, I am not sure where you are located, but for my spouse, I went to a private company who got the FP done in like 5 minutes and send them off to RCMP also advising RCMP to send them to CIC. They gave us a receipt for reference. CIC got the FP and updated in roughly 6-7...

If its a family application (2 together) then all need to pass the test.
