Minor application CIT0003 section 7G

Hello everyone!! I am filling up the minor applications for my sons and there is one question unclear to me.
We are from Europe, arrived here in August 2016 as PR. My husband and I are born in the early 70s.
The section 7G reads as follows:

"Indicate whether the minor's parent left Canada for more than one (1) year before February 15, 1977"

It’s a little confusing! I wasn’t living in Canada before 1977. So I couldn’t have left Canada! We were born in the early 70s and lived in Europe.

What should I answer?

Hello ChrisFred, In your case, this question will be not applicable, so was in my case too. You may write "NA" or "Not Applicable".

I also agree with what Amit wrote above.. You should answer it as No/NA/Not Applicable
