LMO validity and applying for work permit

Ah, ok. I see what your end goal is. The back to your original question, kitchen helper is considered low skilled so your employer applies for a regular LMO with all of the recruitment and advertising proof. You can switch from the PGWP to apply for a regular work permit as soon as a positive...

In Canada landing without an Immigration Visa stamp on passport?

It's just a Service Canada officer who doesn't know the right process. It's common. Go back, ask to speak to the supervisor. Your COPR should be all you need.

    PLS ADVISE URGENT!!

Looks like your LMO was as fake as your agent. The only thing you could possible do is try getting in touch with the employer in Canada to find out if the LMO is authentic and if they are really interested in hiring you. But the employer was probably fake as well. Other than that, you might...

I have a question about Dependent child sponsorship in Jamaica

I can't give you an actual time but sponsorship of children is normally much faster than sponsorship of a spouse assuming there are no issues with custody and/or a determination of parentage (DNA test) is not requested. Security checks are not required for children under 18 so hopefully it will...

Can my wife take my baby out of the country without my permission?

The OP was from 2008. Both parents do not need to apply for the passport together if she has an order for sole custody. And this same order will allow a parent to travel with the child without consent of the other parent. At least that's how it works in accordance with Canadian laws.

LMO validity and applying for work permit

Yes, the owner can apply for an LMO if he wants but why do it now when you don't need it? Maybe he needs to hire more people too? LMOs are a lot of work and I would not do one unless I had to. But he's free to do as he likes of course. As far as you are concerned, you realize that your PGWP...

Working under the table.. what are the real risks?

It's like deja vu. It was about a year ago the exact same type of question got asked and garnered the exact same kind of response. Everyone beating up on this person because their spouse worked illegally. And everyone also thinking that the consequences will be so drastic. Really, they won't...

So you can choose to arrive together or separately. It won't cause any problems because your mom was the principal applicant. And I'm a "she". :)

    Spousal sponsorship

You are inadmissible to Canada due to your drunk driving conviction. You cannot apply for rehabilitation until 5 years have passed from the date you completed your sentence (not the date you were convicted). The best you can do is get a TRP. And hire someone to help you.
