    Assylum seeker needs help urgent!!!

Thank you PMM. It appears we were both misled by the terminology used. As the OP has now clarified that it is a HALF sister, and not a STEP sister (two entirely different relationships), it appears that he can claim asylum on the basis of having a nephew in Canada, as mentioned by Kriv in his...

    Assylum seeker needs help urgent!!!

You should read this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/laws-policy/menu-safethird.asp And verify whether the young man you mention is considered your nephew ("close relative") by CIC; I suspect he is not, & that you should claim asylum in the US: the first safe country in which you arrived.

    Health Insurance

Are you landing as PRs? If so, you'll need private health insurance for the 3 month waiting period to qualify for OHIP. I'd strongly advise buying said insurance before travelling: imagine what might happen (expenses) if you were to be knocked over and injured by a taxi as you exit the...

    Sales/Business Development

    1. Massive downturn in the industry Canada-wide. 2. QC isn't one of the leaders in O&G job availability. There are some opportunities, but if I were set on working in that industry, not sure that I'd choose QC to start with...

Graduates from Other Provinces applying to Quebec Immigration (QSW) then PR

You understood wrongly. That link is not relevant to the OP. Temporary workers (including those on PGWPs), and people holding validated job offers CAN apply outside the regulated intake periods, if they meet certain criteria.
