Calling for information is not a common practice for CIC. I think CIC prefers email or mail communications simply because they want to have a record of communications - and phone calls do not provide it. I would not reply such an email until I am 100% sure it's genuine. I would call CIC call...

The email address in bold has under-score, but it should be dashed. I would say check the email address caracter-by-character and see if it matches the one of CIC.

Guys, Does anybody know how a mail from CIC asking undergoing further tests looks like? Is it a big or small envelope? Does it have Ottawa's mailing address in it? I have not received (I think) any mail from CIC and now getting paranoid maybe I have received it but have lost it.

I called the doctor's office a week after the medical was done. She told me that my results were fine and had been sent to Ottawa (she said we would have contacted you if there was something wrong). I am reluctant to order GCMS as it gives me so much stress - waiting and then reading the notes...

There is no problem with posting those office/officer initials in the forums. I have seen this for several years now. Monday is Family Day. I think it's a holiday in Ontario - so a long weekend for Ottawa officer and a longer wait for us.

Yes, it was one year after AOR when I applied in another stream in 2012. I thought it might be shorter for CEC.

I have not applied for one, and it's unlikely that I will. It just gives me too much stress and makes the wait doubly painful (one for the PR itself and the other for receiving the notes). So, our due dates are April, right? Then I guess they can let our files sit there.

Those of you who got GCMS notes, is there any due date mentioned in the notes? ... Thanks!
