Cabalen,

any update in your file.

No update. Patiently waiting... it will come. Our time will come.

I made a rough estimate based on the latest approvals coming from my home country and almost the same number of applicants in the applications (4 in my case). My estimate is around March I will get RPRF and PPR.

Again, this is only for my case, because I think they are now checking for Criminality and Security. These take time in my home country and how many people they need to check.

I have not applied for one, and it's unlikely that I will. It just gives me too much stress and makes the wait doubly painful (one for the PR itself and the other for receiving the notes). So, our due dates are April, right? Then I guess they can let our files sit there.

No. It depends when they have started it. The GCMS will tell you. I guess for most of the dates have the same date as the AOR.

Yes, it was one year after AOR when I applied in another stream in 2012. I thought it might be shorter for CEC.

Oh, I see.. Yeah, probably they just made it as a rule of thumb ever since and never changed it.

Folks,

Applied for GCMS notes on 5 January and got it this afternoon. Nothing appears to have had been started since AOR issued on 27 May. The only thing which has "In Progress" is Criminality and the only reason for that is possibly because I sent over the PCC to CIC. I cannot understand what is happening - maybe my file is lost.

I am also having same timeline. My application reached cic on 22nd april.Since then except AOR nothing happened on my file. I ordered 3 GCMS notes and no progress. I worried.

I also have the same issue... at least I wanna know what is exactly the problem.... there is no notes and just criminality in progress in three GCMS .... kindly if any expert applied from last year, please give us an opinion

Just been going over my GCMS notes more closely.

Eligibility Assessment: 1
Created: 2014/06/03
Updated: 2014/11/21
Status: Review Required
Due Date: 2015/06/02

Criminality is in Progress too.
Security and Medicals: Not Started.

I guess there still some more waiting to do. I will probably have to apply for another BOWP once May 8th hits to be on the safe side.

Looks like it took 5 months for my file to go from location A900 at CPC-Ottawa to location CEC CA REV also at CPC-Ottawa (Anyone know what CEC CA REV means) - I assume it has something to do with CEC Eligibility Review.

I am in the same boat: my application was filed on April 17, and I received AOR on May 9; but since then no communications. My GCMS notes suggest that only criminality is in progress. I am also getting worried.

Any plausible explanations for the delay? Any guess?

Would CEC CA REV stand for CEC Criminality Assessment Review?

Mine from A900 went to CEC CA REV then went back to A900 when they sent me my MR.

Not really sure what the locations meant though....

Thanks Cabalen, how long did it take for yours to get from A900 to CEC CA REV?

It took 6 months.

WOW - what do they do for 5 or 6 months?
