Hi friends,

I got

Listening -7
Reading -6
Writing -11
Speaking -11

Will this score work out PR under noc A? Can I go for revaluation for reading .

Sorry bro, you need 7 or more in each category.

About re-evaluation of reading, it's unlikely they will change your score because listening and reading are computer based calculations.

So, I would strongly recommend you to re-take the test. You'll do way better next time.

Hi

I got below scores, do I eligible, would re-evaluation helps?

Is it for NOC A? if so then you will have to retake. Maybe you can send in ur application while you wait for another test...? I think you can do that

Nope. Your application package will be returned if language test results are not enclosed.

Okay my bad... I thought you could do that

i had my test today in Red Deer.

worst part for me was reading, that section had 5 samples which you have to read and to answer question from text.

i will post my score as soon as i get the results.
i will need passing scores for NOC B skill.

Hi guys.

I am preparing the test and any info is of great help

Could you post writing and speaking topics from your tests please?

How hard is to get a 5 in the speaking part? I can´t find any example of the required level to get that score and that would really help!

Is reading harder than the one they have in their web? I found helpful that the time is limited for each part, I think that helps to manage it better.

Thank you :)

Hi,

I had my Celpip - General 2014 test on June 13 and got my scores

Listening -8
Reading -6
Writing -7
Speaking -7

I need to 7 in all levels to Apply PR in FSW. I did good in the test and I am surprised to see these scores. I have to re-apply to make sure I get 7 in all categories. Just though of re-evaluating the reading section alone coz I need 7 and I didn't do that bad to get 6. Overall, CELPIP is little bit difficult with respect to time frame for each section and reading part I felt bit difficult.

Anybody got luck with re-evaluation? How about other's got their scores who had a test in June 2014

Hi Venky,

Am also planning to apply for Re evaluation of Reading component. Could you please advise with your experience on the same. This will greatly help to decide to go re evaluation or re attempt. Please do help me. thanks in advance. mail id: laamurugan@gmail.com

Hi there,
I did my exam on 5th April 2014, near yonge-eglinton at 1pm and got the result this evening.

Reading 12
Listening 12
Writing 9
Speaking 8

I will share my experience.

I reached the exam center at around noon, a lady asked us to put our stuff (jacket, wallet, cell phone and etc) in a bag that she gave us. She asked us to keep your passport and exam ticket in our hand, one person will be checking your passport, ticket and will scan them too. Once he is done, you will go to another person who will take your picture and will assign you to a computer. Another supervisor will escort you to your work station.

You will have your picture on the monitor, they will ask you to test the head phone and microphone. Please remember once you are in the
room you cannot leave on your "own" even for the washroom, exam supervisor will escort you.

There is a new rule from CELPIP that everyone will start the exam at the same time. So if you are in the room at 12.20 and last person comes in at 1pm, unfortunately you will have to wait until 1pm.

Exam is really straightforward (if you guys want I can share some of the topics too for speaking, reading, listening and writing).
For the writing part, one bonus thing is they have a built-in spell check, this option allows you to check your spelling.
Test is in following sequence:

1) Listening
2) Reading
3) Writing
4) Speaking

Results are usually up by 8th business day.

Let me know if you have any question(s)

Hello ,
Thank you for the detailed response.

Can you please suggest study material you referred for the test and the material that you may feel can improve the speaking and reading score .
I received mixed responses on the speaking test , as some of the responses says CELPIP speaking test will not be easy and they make you fail for another attempt . Can you please guide on this as well.

Thanks ,
