I have a theory for why April Applicants are delayed whilst May/June seem to be ahead of us. It could be that the blunders made by students and part-timers at CIC affected April applications the most - we got AOR in May/June; that is when the students and part-timers would have been doing the first review - July/August.

Makes sense?

CIC could take from 5 Days to month or 2 to update the result.... It's also depend on case to case.....

Mine has been 66 days today since I did the medical - and no update at all. The wait is really getting hard.

I shudder to think that Students are reviewing our applications.

C'mon there is no such a thing as bad karma. CIC is delayed because of Express Entry and Citizenships (which is currently taking up to 22 months in some cases and was in the news (thestar.com). Summarizing, citizens = votes, so probably it's the priority there to speed up the backlog). Nevertheless, don't worry. We're still on track. We haven't reached 13 months yet... so all good! Keep the good vibe going :)

I knew someone will pick on that ;-) Of course I don't believe in such a thing, but you start to wonder when you are chasing this immigration for over 5 years and whatever stream you apply starts to get clogged in some ways, or you get your application back or refused.

"Keep the good vibe going?!" Just close your eyes, imagine yourself still waiting for this to happen at least 4 more years from now (assuming you already spent one year of the 5 years ;-)). I don't think any vibe will be left out of it.

Haha! Don't take it so literal. I know what you mean! :) Just remember we're all in the same boat and we support each others! Things are going to work out at the end for us - sooner or later. I was pretty disappointed with my medicals and people here cheered me up. So, if it worked for me, it should work for you as well. Just stay positive!

Order GCMS to check what is happening to your application.

I received a mail from CIC today acknowledging the receipt of the amended LOE I sent to them when I received my GCSMS notes that the duties in my LOE did not match the NOC B under which I applied but match NOC A, and my file has been subsequently updated with the amended LOE, still waiting for MR.

Great work and result olufemy1 - can I discuss this offline with you please? You can send me a personal response. Thanks

Those of you who got GCMS notes, is there any due date mentioned in the notes? ... Thanks!

In my GCMS notes there was no Due date.....
I don't know when CIC is planning to review my file again.....
No ECAS update or No RPRF/PPR request...

Yes and it's a standard 1 year from the date started. Check Eligibility, Admissibilities (Security and Criminality) and Medical details.

Cabalen,

any update in your file.

I have not applied for one, and it's unlikely that I will. It just gives me too much stress and makes the wait doubly painful (one for the PR itself and the other for receiving the notes). So, our due dates are April, right? Then I guess they can let our files sit there.
