I think we may have the record for the longest time between AOR and SA... so far 14 days and counting. And according to CIC, no problems with our app and that it is still processing.

Me and you both can think of 50 other words :) I mean we pay good money for this process, and yet CIC can't be more efficient. ::)

Yes, I have been able to check the status of the app... all it says is app received for both sponsorship and PR application.

We received AOR on June 5th... now till today we still haven't received SA.. getting really worried considering that everyone else that has had a gap between AOR and SA has been max 5-6 days.

We got our AOR June 5th :) ... still awaiting sponsor approval. Taffy, strange that ours was submitted one day later and we already have AOR. Hope your AOR+SA comes soon.

Please update my status. I think I got AOR today 05-June.... I got an email from CIC saying they received my app on 11-April-2014 and then they let me know my application # and UCI #. Can't believe these crazy delays :'(

So on the day her permit expires, we can just drive to the US and then re-enter?

My wife's open work permit expires July 2nd, 2014. We have submitted our spousal application (Outland) back in mid April. Since her work permit is expiring, would she need to change her status to visitor? She's from a country that does not need a VISA to visit Canada. Could she just stay here...

If there are no dependents, then you don't need to fill out this form, as far as I know. We didn't include it in our app. Can someone else confirm?

I know what you mean. We struggled with the same issue. How much is enough? How much is too much? I think as long as you did your due diligence and included as much relevant proof as you can, you'll be ok. It's about proving that the relationship is genuine, and that doesn't require 300 photos!
