No, I do not think so. They may ask for recent pay stubs along the line and you'd have to explain why you have none, though.

If you are a Canadian Citizen, yes. If you are a PR, you have to stay in Canada during the sponsorship process.

After the sponsorship approval, can the sponsor leave canada? Can the sponsored person change his job or travel abroad?

As for as i know CIC willn't open file for about 6 months after they approve the sponsorship approval. You can leave canada for short periods ( couple of months) .CIC not all knowing about the sposor whereabouts. But if you are planning to stay out during whole process , then there is a huge chance of CIC cancel your apps.

Dere is no way to check application rec. da nly way is by tracking da post u sent dat dey received. Secondly, it takes near abt 30-34 days aftr which u will receive notice for ur sponsorship approval nd aor either through post or email. In sm cases dere is email regarding AOR nd few days latr u vil receive SA along vid file numbr.

That is untrue. CIC will not cancel your app if you're abroad during the sponsorship, as long as you're a Citizen. You may just have to prove intent to return to Canada once the applicant receives PR status. Lots of people apply and stay outside of Canada with the applicant.

That is not quite correct .My husband can be here in 6 months .It all depends on what country you are applying from. Just a note ,we are not all applying from the same countries .Different countries different time line .As for being out of the country as long as she or he is a Canadian citizen she or he can stay out of the country the whole time .

We sent our application in march but that one got lost by Canada post (lucky us NOT!!!) so resent package again by fedex on April 14th and fedex tracking is showing it was delivered on April 17th

Medical was done March 14th 2014 and were applying outland from Sydney for a spousal visa.
